Slipping
Slipping through moment’s unseen,
Caressing the inky darkness.
Shedding the skin,
Now unclean.
We kiss the madness.
Bathe the mind,
stripped to bone,
We love to hate, such malice.
Abandon the bitter soul,
Awaiting our fate,
Embracing our given affinity,
Breaking, no longer whole.
Now you lie broken-hearted,
You’re all alone.
Accepting our forsaken enemy,
With fractured mind parted.
Shattered soul without hope,
given over to the chaos.
Search for a godless ruin,
In which we cope,
In which we wither in pain,
As they pray for us.
Release your mortal shell.
Fallen, betrayed, you are slain.
