His hands were rough but gentle as their fingers both entwined.
Hot breath.
Slow but excited as it caressed their faces.
His eyes lingered on her lips, flushed cheeks,
Locked into her star spangled eyes.
Heat rises.
Bodies move closer
Her lips touch his.
Soft as a rose’s petals, plump as ripe peaches
Tastes as sweet as summer nights.
Her hand slides along his chest and rests on his face.
Scratchy bark is what she feels on the tips of her fingers as they
Rake along his jaw.
He pulls her closer with a tender clout,
His weight sinks into her with a sense of security,
It seeps past her skin.
Simple and slow they separate,
Their eyes on each other were filled with
Not a want, but…
A need
As they both realized that something real had
just
begun
