Being in love
Comes with a price;
Tired, lonely and spent,
Yet consuming lie after lie.

Breaking teeth on cakes-
Sweetness baked with hell.
There's only so much you can take
Before you're breathing with death.

Swallowing bullets coated in sugar,
Kissing the lips of invisible thorns;
Wrapping arms around stars burning up,
And thawing at ice while feeling the warmth.

Touching the fingers of a frozen fire,
And believing the swirling winds;
Singing along with the song of a liar
Till you finally break within.
