They say that the Universe
is made of dead things
that it has neither heart nor soul
that it doesn't matter if a child starves
that force is the law and rule
the fool has had his say
Oh, the Universe has a mind
and a soul
the stars look down and know
every deed of good
and every deed of evil
Oh, the earth feels the plow
and the air counts
every breath You take
throughout the vast
and distant universe
there lies a luminous
and mystic aura
for love pervades the universe
from end to end
Oh, what a vast vault
of memory it has
Oh, what vast mind of God
born from a vast fire
Oh, the vastness of love
fills God's mind
each joined to each
in an invisible embrace
waiting to be consummated
with love
Oh, grief is the dark side of love
Oh, grieve not the mind of God
Oh, self crucifixion
a life time to pay
grief for grief
Oh, the flesh driven think they know
the mind of God
"thou shall not"
being the rule of the day
Oh, how little they know
the only son shed his blood for grace
not for a haughty self righteous glance
Oh, how the flower loves the sun
and the earth loves the grass
that lives upon it
and My heart beats in rhythm
with Yours
unknown by You
Oh, what a flaming and magic
invisible bridge connects the two
only known by My heart
and a knowing God
Oh, bound together by the invisible
strands of love
that pass from My heart to Yours
like tiny invisible threads
