Do I pursue?

A sudden warmth runs slowly through, The moisture from the morning dew. A beautiful thought I must pursue. But, In the past I have tried to grasp, A pretty thought like dewy grass, and in the end, I hadn't one friend. Feelings, time could not mend. All because of my greedy ways, The pursuit of happiness in a dreamy daze. To avoid the pain I mustn't pursue, Happiness, love or the morning dew. So, Dare I pursue something as beautiful as you?
