A Lifetime

by @sandra-k-smith

A LIFETIME There will always be a beginning and an end. What we put in-between and sometimes bend, Is up to each of us to stretch and make the most of. We all have a great friend, who will help, from up above. We go through this life only one time, So, take time to enjoy it.  Each day is prime! Sharing your life is so important – a must! Start sharing it now; do not let it collect dust! God only gives us enough grief that we alone can carry. So, do not worry about problems and do not tarry! Our lifetime is too short to cause our own strife. Enthusiasm shared with a friend makes a much better life! Regrets from things you try, then, stumble and fall, Are so much better than those you didn’t attempt at all! So, if you are going to have regrets, with a big sigh, Let it be for failing your attempt, not failing to try! Therefore, be a friend and enjoy each day as it comes. Whether it is rainy or sunny, living in castles or slums . . . As long as the company and trip are fun, Each day will bring rainbows and bring out the sun! SKS 2012
