Poem: --------- P: Cover your ears or you'll forever regret The wailing of her tears pouring like a faucet Howling painful screams into the darkness of the night Possessing your very dreams with heart wrenching fright Throwing you deep into a black abyss Gods what have you done to dwell in such a mess
H: It was her existence that helped me go by Though she was no longer with me, I couldn't even try Try and accept that she's not here anymore My worst fears have knocked on my door
I spent ages trying to scout Yet I found no sign of a way out
P: You are living in denial that's not a way to carry on
H: I feel like I'm on trial waiting for judgement to be passed on
Will someone end my misery, I plead & I plead I wanted to join her once more but they refused to heed
It's time to take matters into my own hands Powered by my longing to brush her silky strands
P: She's in a better place, you've to let her go She'd have wanted you to be happy not be your last straw It seems impossible now but it'll get easier in time Living on is not unfaithfulness nor will it ever be a crime
H: I believe I can wait a little bit longer For absence makes the heart grows fonder Now hear me swear a solemn oath Until we re-unite, I'll keep both Both my heart and mind intertwined For they've only ever been for my beloved to find
