Distractions
Are just that
A way to remove your self from reality
But you can't hide for ever
At around midnight when the world sleeps, so do your distractions
The demons as you call them slip in the room
Memories creep from the crevice of the past  into you.
Taking over every inch of your thoughts
Like cancer multiplying at a rapid pace
Try and control it but the efforts go to waste
Your hearts starts galloping and won't hold place
A million angry bees start to make their way into your mind
And there's no controlling them you draw short of breath and your chest is tight
You close your eyes but it only brings you to a roller coaster and you're already mid flight
