you made me forget.

Nothing feels better than the feeling
Of a new body against my own
Drowning out old, unwelcome memories

The pain of my wounds have lessened
The miserable feeling of being ignored
Your courtesy ascends the consuming flames

I think im slowly piecing back together
The jagged cracks of my vulnerable essence
And im finally remembering what its like
For someone to actually give a **** about you

even if its only for a night.
