This is Your Day
Your lover left you
yesterday,
You noticed a hair
that is gray,
you gained five pounds
this holiday,
it seems that nothing
goes your way.
The sun will rise
and set each day,
The moon gives light
to lead your way,
flowers bloom to
brighten your day,
how can you say
things aren't your way?
Beauty is truly
everywhere,
uncross your arms
and leave your chair,
open your eyes,
become aware,
this is your day;
life's not unfair.
