If I want it,
I must take it now,
and seize it with
my hands

If I want it,
I must do the act,
and forget my own
fear of grime

IF I want it,
I must attack;
my friends, my
loves, myself

IF I WANT IT,
I must go soon
the time is short
the evening looms

IF I WANT IT
I MUST MOVE ON
THESE TEARS DO NOTHING
THESE TEARS NEVER HAVE

if I want it,
I can have it,
there’s a way
and I know it,
but I can’t face it,
- this gruesome act -
for I don’t want it
- bad enough –

to destroy everything
getting in my way
and by that I mean
- myself -
