A never ending fairy tale...

by mardonet

Her mind wanders, searching for you Her memories vague, but sadly- true Her heart closed, but still carrying you Her eyes empty, but still full of blue Inside her head, a beautiful story About a girl waiting for a hero To pick her and tell her she's beautiful And take her away- The beginning of a fairy tale... And a hero did come Not a shining knight, no- Instead a boy broken up inside Longing for something that is right Winning her over with his words Capturing her heart slowly Neither one of them planning on falling, But life had something else in mind- It was cunning And oh she fell, and him too And they were happy together, Laughing, dreaming, wishing, Just being in love - ...fools But life got jealous and turned cruel And he did everything in his power To put an end to those two And they fought and they struggled Not knowing what to do Both of them hurt and puzzled Oh but they knew... And so life managed to turn A beautiful dream into a nightmare Leaving broken hearts full of scars And on their faces, A tear
