Walking through the forest at night
With the spooky scenery
I know there's someone following,
someone I can't see

When I look behind me
He must hide behind a bush
Sometimes I can hear him
But only, when I shush

I know that he's unfriendly
And shallow
Why else would he want
To hide in my shadow

Maybe he's hungry
For tasty fresh meat
Maybe a nibble on me
Would be a nice treat

When will he leave me
To walk peacefully home
Will I one day walk,
Just me, alone

He never leaves me be
I know he's always there
He knows I know he follows
But I don't think that he cares
