THE SUN SETS AND THERE'S A BEAUTIFUL GLOW
SHE WANTS TO RUN FAR BUT SHE HAS NO PLACE TO GO
AFRAID OF SOMETHING & NOT ABLE TO PACK
"JUST DO IT" THEY SAY, BUT SHE'S HOLDING BACK
SHES INTERNALLY DYING
AND SO SICK OF CRYING
IT'S HER MOST KNOWN EMOTION
IF YOU COLLECT HER TEARS YOU'D HAVE AN OCEAN
EVERY WORD HE SAYS JUST EATS AWAY AT HER
WITH TEARS IN HER EYES EVERYTHING'S A BLUR
WHY CAN'T SHE JUST FACE HIM & BE TOUGH
WONDERING IF SHE WILL EVER BE GOOD ENOUGH
SHE CAN'T WAIT ALL HER LIFE FOR THE RAIN
SHE'S THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN WASH AWAY THIS PAIN
YOU'LL REGRET THE DAY SHE SAYS GOODBYE
THEN MAYBE YOU'LL BE THE ONE TO CRY
