Poems
Jan 2011
I fear you, but one day, we will be together.
I'm sorry, what's your name again? I got lost in your eyes.
And how empty they are of lies.
How they squint to see a face.
And smile, just in case.
You catch my stare.
As I wander here and there.
Just to come across you.
I wonder if you know what's true.
When I try to speak,
Not a word leaks,
From my trembling lips.
A nervous wreck, you make my mind.
I haven't felt like this, for quite some time.
As we pass in the hall,
My heart beats with your footfalls.
I wish you would make the first move,
There's something I need to prove.
In my dreams, we are together.
But, in real life... we aren't.
Well, at least not yet.
