Her warm face lit with delight
As she embraces him.
Wearing only swimsuits,
Their touch reminds me
Of summer nights spent submerged
Under starry skies.

She remains frozen in this moment.

His dull face, baring a slight grin
As she embraces him.
His cold, apathetic eyes
Speak more words than are actually spoken.
Hands down to his side,
His weapons are holstered.

Yet her embrace is left unbroken.
