Hermit
His mind hums in the silence of the night,
Of troubles that lurk when daylight comes,
He sought guidance to overcome with might,
Reflection and isolation in overdue sums,
The old man with the walking staff and the lantern,
He seeks his cave for time in introspection,
Alone and in solitude where the walls have no ears,
A retreat to the deepest fears to overcome them.
