Oh, you will be the death of Me
I do not care
before I met you love
I  thought only of Me
do I have enough food
do I have enough water
then I found You
on My door step shivering
in the cold
a skinny little thing
My heart went out to You
for who could condemn
such a lovely creature
with such dark and lovely
haunting eyes
such loveliness I had never seen
I took you in
and warmed You by My fire
calmed your fears
and wrapped You in
the finest silk
I was captured on that day
taken by storm
Oh, I had never known
that it was better
to love than be loved
My heart and soul came alive
Oh, You were such a
fragile little thing
and there in was Your strength
Oh, I fell for You like a child
Oh, I shall never be free
form Your soft and gentle  eyes
Oh, You are My drug
that takes Me to such heights
of love's delight
Oh, You have brought My soul to life
You took Me in from
this cruel and heartless world
kissed My brow
and showed Me
what love really means.
