Thank you

Your love for me, was shown on the rugged cross.

You paid a debt, that you owe not,

And you purchased my pardon,

I thank you lord.

The love that you gave, I will, forever, be indebted to.

A body of perfection was stained with a scar for me.

The thorns on your brow, was more than a man could bare,

But you took it all, in the name of love, for the sake of man.

I thank you lord.

On the third day, you rose again,

Conquered death and victory gained.

Forever seated with the Father, my forgiveness you’ve bought.

From now on, your health is mine, and your wholeness is mine.

You have made me a king.

I thank you lord.

Walk with me, in this life, you will.

Knowing my pains and sorrows, you, too, were once a man.

You will never leave me, nor forsake me.

So in your words I trust.

‘till we meet face to face again.

I thank you lord
