I put my heart inside a heartbeat
And called it… life.
I sent a flicker
through the eternity of a moment,
and watched it tangle
between the roots of fate.
In the eyes of promise, I am a beggar…
I reign over the Undefined.
Sometimes I wander o’er its hills
and wonder,
is the cold in my fingers
here to stay?
As the clock goes tick I learn the ways of love.
By the time it goes tack I’ve mastered hate.
At the crossroads of faith,
I pause,
and hold on to the truth that thrives
inside each and every heartbeat.
It's my life I can't ignore.
Death is just… that.
Nothing less.
Nothing more.
Live your life.
