Dreams are like a starry night shooting star
For a moment they're here
Until they fade and disappear
Most dreams die right before our eyes
But you and I can keep them alive
Let's bring people back to starry skies
Where we can keep our hopes alive
Soar on wings made of meteor tails
Away from the sunlight
That shows us ways to fail
Bring a pen and paper
Take notes of inspiring things
Like shadows of beauty
Not everything is visible
Stars are washed out during the day
But they linger in the sky and never leave
Our dreams stay in the back of our minds
They never leave unless we permit them to
But we should never let them die
Plant them like a seed into other people's lives
If not we’ll miss them
And we never want to
We need to believe in them to keep our sanity
Together we'll stay alive
Under the starry skies
Follow what feels right
Close connected to our hearts
There’s never a wrong time to start
Chasing dreams can sometimes break us
But I believe it’s worth the pain.
