Beer Goggles

September 13, 2009

Never have I been so sure

Of what my heart does feel

I wake every morning

Thinking its real

When I saw him standing there

Across the crowded room

No one else mattered

It all happened so soon

My temporary courage

Came well into play

My whole world changed

That very day

In a state I shouldn’t remember

I will never forget

My eyes are wide open

I can never regret

I have given him my heart

And his it will always be

No matter what happens

Its always you and me
