Though Your soul
may be scarlet in hue
though You may have
committed sins without number
I pledge My love to You
with the scarlet
of My blood
let it flow
into a cup
this blood of life
My life
I give to You
Oh, I have searched
for a love such as You
if not You
Oh, where do I find her
through this wide world
I could walk
till the skin left My feet
and blood for them did flow
I could dive to the bottom of the sea
or climb to the top of the sky
search for a million years
and down the halls of forgotten time
and never find such a one as You
I give to You
I seal My poor beating heart
Oh, without You
I am like a motherless child
take this My love
as I pour out this cup
of My blood scarlet in hue
a pledge to the gods
for all immortal time
If you cease to love Me
let the sun no longer shine
and the flesh fall from My bones
and I become the dust for which I came
when I walk upon the silent
sacred forest
I hear a sacred song
only My and Your heart
can hear
let our life be as one
My dear love
Oh, how I long for Your
sacred love
no creature
in all eternity
has ever been so blessed
by a goddess
of such a soft flaming fire
a fire of love
Oh, bright goddess
let Me remain
in Your embrace
let love drip
from Your heart into mine
Oh, life to My soul
Your love is a mystery
Your love is a song
a song of ages past
and ages to come
Oh, I worship You
Oh, goddess
goddess of love
goddess of My soul
To You I pledge
this love to ever be true
