You've become
Simply a trophy of someone's hunt
Just a notch
Carved in the end of a lover's knife
Take your skin
Lay it down over the splintered floor
Use your blood
Coat the walls over with rusty red
Break your bones
Wear them in jewelry around your neck
And remind yourself
Of what it once was
