Hostile and aggressive,
You stamp your foot,
The floor trembling beneath us,
You raise your hand,
Oh God, don't hurt me,
My stomach in knots,
I see that look on your face,
Ready to inflict pain,
On my fragile body,
But your hand slams down,
On the dresser, shaking violently,
I'm not relieved,
I can see the violence,
In your black eyes,
*Please don't hurt me
