Porch Thoughts
I stand on the porch
& it overlooks the road
& it is painted white.
I smoke a cigarette
with my left hand
in my pocket.
I exhale & enter
a daydream
where I am yours.
I close my eyes
& I taste your lips
& I touch your thigh.
I open my eyes
to peer into the desire
lounging on my tongue.
