Today was the day
Made my way to the car
Turned on my a.c
Rolled the windows down
Today was the day I found the truth

I smelled crisp sunshine & freckles on your white face
Your sweet lips like milk
Til you showed me the meaning of sorrow
And the milk was sour
Sour....like a lemon

I dream of a mermaid
She swims threw my dreams.
Looking for treasures & my childhood
Then a shark eats her heart out before my very eyes making me wake in a cold sweat.

Today was the day I died.
Yet was I even born?
