Your love is intoxicating.
More so than the cutting, the grugs, the self-hatred I beg you to indulge.
I know no better high than lying next to you, my head on your chest and your arms wrapped around me.
I know no better feeling than the resounding truth that I am yours.
My mind has never known such a beautiful sound as the sound of your heartbeat, low and comforting while my ear is pressed against your chest.
I will never know such joy as hearing how your heartbeat quickens as you lean down to kiss my hair.
I know no better feeling of content than sighing quietly and feeling your arms tighten protectively around me.
That sigh is a part of an unspoken language, whose only translation is "I love you".
We talk about *** but I had to chose, I would give it up in one of your low, lovely heartbeats.
I cannot express how I love nothing more than to lay here in your arms, protected and loved.
