She was beautiful
like a red blooming flower.
So beautiful that he wanted to take a closer look at her.
The closer he gets, the more he can see her thorns and how her beautiful red colour fades.
But he didn’t care, he come closer anyway.
Because he loved the way she was beautifully standing and she was so nice.

“So beautiful,” he thought, “nothing can be more beautiful than her.”

She whispered the sweetest scent that mesmerised him and he fell for her right away.

He wanted to touch her but when he did, she poisoned him with watery goo.
She said words that too painful for him to even recall but he loved her anyway.
He had hope that she will change and stop spitting poisons at his face.

But patience has it’s limits and he had lost all his hope after a year when she spits the most poisonous words at him: “I never loved you.”

He turned away – hopeless, lost and broken hearted.
He was distraught.

He was broken like pieces of a broken glass.
