At first glance, I was fascinated
It wasn't love or lust
Infatuation or adulation

But a straying glamour
On an endless route of time travel

She didn't speak much
Just a routine of infinite euphoria
And a numberless mist of cigarettes
Ex haling her pains through every puff

I stole glances frequently
Wandering what lies behind
Those un tainted lips of bewildered smiles
Hoping to exhume her hideous secrets

I listened with lustful enthusiasm
To a saddened tuned tale

Halting my curiosity, many a time
To take a puff
As I await tiny to lit another cigarette
