Scoundrels they sure are,
scoundrels they may be,
but they are people too,
only different from you and me.
Maybe their violence
is caused by their predisposition,
genetics, friends, and lack of conviction.
Sure, they are responsible,
but we must take into account
how circumstances can *******,
and crime is a ripple
that is innate in our being.
Only self control is taught
to most citizens, who ought
to make an effort not to critique
but rather to set an example.
If we enter into their lives,
maybe they will learn to sympathize,
and realize they can take a different path
instead of searching to unleash their wrath.
