Half Alive

Half alive but mostly dead.

Half smiling but filled with dread.

Half awake yet still asleep.

Half a heart that you can not keep.

Half of the pain tries to hide.

Half your hope is held inside.

Half a person and half a slave.

Half dead but already in a grave.

'Cause you're only half alive....
