Your World is Mine

Tell me it’s alright

Tell me I can unwrap my eyes

Again

And witness the sun

Rise against

Your shaking skin

Shaking in

The warmth

And gored glow

Of the fire that you lit

At the frayed ends

Of my nerves, of my hollow

At the throb of my heart

This world is mine now

There will be no apologies

There will be no regrets

This world is mine now

From all your pooling blues

To all your scream drenched reds

Tell me you’re coming now

Follow the blood

Back home

Don’t weep at the grave

Of deception

There you’ll dry out, all alone

There is an art

In my destruction

In your tragedy

Tell me you see

Tell me you understand

All the beauty still to come, So come with me

This world is mine now

There will be no more sadness

There will be no more mistakes

This world is mine now

Anew for your wonder

To wander its place

Awake

Awake

Awake

And you’re mine
