In the Likeness

by @jeremy-d-scholz

I look into your eyes Human on the surface Underneath cold unfeeling I reach and touch your hand Hard, cold, unyielding You touch makes me cringe I yell, you blankly stare Eyes cold and dead Is your heart stone? I reach to strike you face Your features splinter A spider web fracture I muse in amazement You dead eyes multiplied Many eyes peer out I hate you heartlessness Blood from my hand Flows down your features I look at my hand you look at yours Blood on your glassy form I take you off the wall You sicken me, you don’t feel at all
