was first time I fell for you
the first words you spoke to me
was the second time I believed
these shallow waters of love and life
wont sooth the hearts enduring blight
it begins with us, hand in hand
back to the past were it all began
can we rewrite history, we sure can try
if only for a moment, yet never say goodbye
