Under the Moonlit Sky

by Sherri

Moonlight serenades the dimly night lit sky with a shade of deep, dark blue. It reflects a sparkle on the lake at night with a dazzling, misty hue. The scent of pine so rich and captivating me the most. The beauty in the nature with the moonlight playing heavenly host. Sitting by the campfire listening to the crackling sound. The flames dance under the moonlight as I sit on the earthen ground. The stars are twinkling, shining so brightly under the sky at night, with the beauty of the moon so bright. Looking up at the sky and all the beauty so far up above. I am at peace to feel God's never ending love. So as I sit here in awe at His creation and never question why. I know I am a child of God, under the moonlit sky.
