You and Me

if i lived in the sky, i'd make the stars spell out your name each night, paint a picture of the perfect thing in my life: you. if i lived in the sky, i'd make the gods bring you to me and we could be, king and queen. you and me. if we lived in the sky, you would see how the stars burn brighter with every breath you take, and how even i'm jealous of how the sky loves you. it obeys you're every move, sways to the sound of you're lovely, lovely voice. and then you look at me. your heart beats wildly, and the stars burn blindly as you grab my hand, pull me close, and tell me you love me. i am no longer jealous. king and queen, you and me.
