Aug 2014
I've been sinking slowly beneath these winter waves for far to long.
Gasping for breathe and a glimpse at the fading December sky.
Pleading internally for some sign of intervention.
As if speaking with only eyes and communicating that which seems like an inevitability.
Gripping hands pull me asunder into the oceans embrace,
Far to deep to see anything but the last fading lights of the world above.
I've succumb to its caress after what seemed like aeons and said my farewells to what was.
