I miss her like the smell of the sweet ocean air the day after you've departed back to land locked monotony or the subtle sounds of the forest when city life is all that encompasses you.
As if she's a ship that's long since set sail for distant shores never to return, I stare off into the sunset gazing endlessly into the sea of shattered glass hoping to see some reflection of what was.
Much like the waves ever shifting, my thoughts circulate infinitely and in this small moment of clarity I find solace.
