I took the leap as I saw your arms waiting.
I smile as the fall took my breath away.
My insides tossed and turned wildly.
My heart beat fast and hard, uncontrolled.
It was the first time I jumped.
The fall was long, but it was everything I wanted.
The fall was long, but I knew it was worth it.
You were there when I fell, your arms not held out.
You saw how I fell, I fell hard, face first on the ground.
I was there when I fell, confused.
You were there and you just stared.
