The kids are in trouble
They're all the same
The only difference between them
Is in their fingerprints.
A painted facade
Masks glass hearts and porcelain dreams
Broken by the huff and puff
Of the joint between their cracked lips.
The kids are in trouble
Their eyes no longer shine
And their passion
Is gone.
They're drowning
In depression
So the only ecstasy they feel
Is the pills they're poppin'.
The kids are in trouble
They're all getting lost
They can't see the path
So I turn off the light
Cause there's more to see in the dark.
