You can learn a lot about people
by what they speak
& it reinforces my belief
in staying quiet
in these mandatory group situations.
Weakness sprouts
in the endless words
running from people's mouth.
Everbody's a comedian, too.
I do not have to watch the news
or view a single soap opera.
I get tuned into the latest & greatest
fashions & music,
who was doing what to who.
Jesus, if these people knew how much
they loved to hear the rambling
of their own voices,
this room would be dead silent.
