Here I have with me,
Half burnt photographs,
A handful of recipes of food you love,
A stack of decaying envelopes addressed to Mr-
But they never arrived at your doorstep,
Not even in your mailbox,
Or your hands.

Because they have found their home in my little oak drawer,
caked with dust and the smell of time.
