Broken stones and broken bones.
Red blood paints grass  once so green.
Oh, the wall have tumbled down!
Oh, see how once so fair a prince lays among the stones.
The love that sealed the fate.
Broken stones and broken bones.
Two  twisted bodies thrown on a heap.
Nobel prince and scarlet lady so fair.
He rode along his weary way.
And just to rest and pass the time away.
He  stopped  by a tavern for just a little drink and sit and rest.
A lady filled a cup, and played and danced.
A lovely eye like the sun.
A kingdom forgotten.
A life forgotten.
