I do wonder if the end is not justified as you may think It is
Would have you done baby made man and drooling still
The blocks turned to cars, and there still the same color
You remember the days, lost in the grocery and the men in the aprons cursing, yelling
‘cause you were crying
Like you did with Bambi
Like you did with Daddy
Like you did with sleepy
You still want to cry, but the mean in the aprons, treaded them for coats
You don’t want to display, ‘cause they’ll make you a display
And now you can’t cry
Like you did with Bambi
Like you did with Daddy
Like you did with sleepy
The skin of another is a maker of Warmer pajamas,
black blooded drink in and a good meal out
Babies’ through up again
Those toy cars you pull back to start moving
No longer now , just pulling back, lost in the world
Canned goods are taller than you, and they keep the cereal on the bottom selve
Now you do cry
Like you did with Bambi
Like you did with Sleepy
Like you did with Daddy
Will you look at that, you fell down, no you wait for a mommies to
Pick
You
Up
And you sit in a silver play-pen- chair
Think of the days, babies hairs gone grey
No old eyes bring new tears
You crying
You don’t know why
Like you did with Bambi
Like you did with Mandy
Like you did with Fancy
Like you did with Bambi
Like you did
Like you did
Babies
God
Drool on his chin
May set this to music
still real rough
