Blood and Blood

Blood and blood and blood and blood,

Empty, so empty, my veins filled with mud.

Break and break and break and break,

Freedom, not freedom, this freedom is fake.

Today and today and today, but tomorrow,

Day-less, so day-less, my future is sorrow.

Oh, by the way, there's me and there's you,

Lovely, I thought, but you said it's untrue.

Gone baby, gone baby, gone honey, gone,

Beauty and beauty, but I am no swan.

Simply, so simply, so simply to see,

Growing and growing, but I am no tree.

Below and below and below and above,

Easy, so easy, but never was love.
