Destroyed

I let you in

You went too far

I let it go

I see now what a fool I was

You should have never been so close

You should have never taken my heart

It has been smashed apart

I saw it coming and ignored it

I let you take me without hesitation

And you used me to your satisfaction

You destroyed my hope and my happiness

I have never been so happy and so sad in one day

Only you could make it that way
