Keeps on Turning

The world turns and my heart stops as the girl walks through the door she walks past the boys flaunting her grace walking on 30 inch heels beyond all the other girls she comes closer my heart goes from stillness to running at full pace closer... my hands become cold closer... my mind goes blank closer... my throat dries closer... she walks past me not even knowing I'm there I'm encased in a cloud of despair The world keeps turning.
