House Bred (Bread)

A new haircut,

Receiving in activities

Like oral ***

What's the difference?

You only feel like a new person

For the first hour or so

Then

It's back to your regular old life

Feeding yourself

And perhaps the kind feline next door

You aren't sure who it belongs to

But it comes to you when you make that little clicking sound

With your tongue

And you sometimes wish you had all the time in the world

To waste

On silly things that are nowhere near productive

But they make you feel good

Like that new haircut
