I stretched my arms out as far as possible. Revealing my stomach, I could feel a cold breeze rap around my waist. I rub the goose bumps on my arms and proceed to reach out. All I wanted to do was endure every bit of beauty this light held. It stood tall on a black, steel pole. I couldn't help but too stare, that yellowish dim glow sitting on the top of that pole. Night falls and I find my self surrounded with darkness. Nothing around me made sense except for that lantern. So i slowly sat Centered in this small circle spot light. Quietly I sat listening to all the crickets sing. The college students partying over sounded everything. I could feel the difference in time at that very moment. People using there time so quickly.. rapidly talking and shouting. To find myself sitting there, wondering threw my thoughts.. Lost.. Alone ..quietly waiting for a change of thought.
